Autonomy KeyView SDK "wp6sr.dll" Buffer Overflow

DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Autonomy KeyView SDK, which can
be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in wp6sr.dll when
processing certain records within Word Perfect documents. This can be
exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow when a user opens a
specially crafted Word Perfect document with an application using the
Autonomy KeyView SDK.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

SOLUTION:
The vendor has reportedly issued a patch.
