A remote attacker could possibly use this to execute arbitrary commands. This issue only affected Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. Carter Sande discovered that kitty incorrectly handled escape sequences in desktop notifications. A remote attacker could possibly use this to execute arbitrary commands. This issue only affected Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.
