DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in EtherApe, which can be exploited
by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing certain
packets containing RPC calls and can be exploited to cause a NULL
pointer dereference via specially crafted packets.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 0.9.12.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 0.9.12.
