DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in Linux Kernel, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service).
1) An error when loading a sparing table can be exploited to cause a
crash when mounting a specially crafted filesystem.
2) An error in the "udf_load_logicalvol()" function (fs/udf/super.c)
when processing a partition table can be exploited to cause a crash
when mounting a specially crafted filesystem.
SOLUTION:
Fixed in the GIT repository. Please note, Linux Kernel 3.3.x branch
reached EoL (End of Life) in June 2012.
