DESCRIPTION:
UniquE-Key{UniquE-Cracker} has discovered a vulnerability in the
Articles module for Xoops, which can be exploited by malicious users
to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "id" parameter in print.php is not properly
sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to
manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation allows e.g. retrieving password hashes, but
requires access to the module.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.02. Prior versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.03.
