DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in TippingPoint IPS, which can be
exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security
restrictions.
The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the handling of
extended unicode characters and can be exploited to evade detection
by the IPS via e.g. a URI with an extended unicode representation for
a forward slash.
The vulnerability is reported in TippingPoint IPS TOS versions 2.1
and 2.2.0 to 2.2.4.
