DESCRIPTION:
Joren McReynolds has reported some vulnerabilities in Cisco Unified
Meeting Place, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct
cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed to certain parameters (e.g."FirstName" and "LastName")
in mpweb/scripts/mpx.dll is not properly sanitised before being
returned to a user. These can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML
and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected
site.
The vulnerabilities reportedly affect all versions.
SOLUTION:
Apply hotfix 5.4.156.2E or 6.0.244.1A, available via Cisco TAC
(Technical Assistance Center).
