DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in IBM Informix Dynamic Server,
which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error in the
processing of JDBC connections and can be exploited to cause an
assertion error or crash via an overly long password (more than 511
characters).
SOLUTION:
Update to IDS 10.00.xC11, 11.10.xC4, or 11.50.xC5.
