DESCRIPTION:
Maxim A. Kulakov has reported a vulnerability in multiple TrustPort
products, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain
escalated privileges.
The vulnerability is caused due to the application setting insecure
default permissions on the installation directory. This can be
exploited to gain escalated privileges by replacing application
binaries.
The vulnerability is reported in the following products and
versions:
* TrustPort Antivirus version 2.8.0.2265
* TrustPort Antivirus Business version 2.8.0.2265
* TrustPort PC Security version 2.0.0.1290
* TrustPort PC Security Business version 2.0.0.1290
Prior versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:

Update to version 2.8.0.2266.
TrustPort Antivirus Business:
Update to version 2.8.0.2266.
TrustPort PC Security:
Update to version 2.0.0.1291.
