DESCRIPTION:
A security issue has been reported in network-manager-applet, which
can be exploited to by malicious people to bypass certain security
restrictions.
The security issue is caused due to network-manager-applet connecting
to wireless networks despite having failed to load certification
files, which prevents the correct verification of certain networks
(e.g. WPA2 Enterprise with TTLS and PAP). This can be exploited to
e.g. spoof networks.
The security issue is reported in version 0.7.2. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Fixed in the GIT repository.
