DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in DotNetNuke, which can be
exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the syndication
handler, which does not properly process requests while searching for
the relevant data. This can be exploited to exhaust available
resources via a large number of specially crafted requests.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 5.5.0.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 5.5.0 or later.
